You see these shackles, baby, I’m your slave
I'll let you whip me if I misbehave
Justin Timberlake is this year’s featured Super Bowl performer, despite the fact that he seriously misbehaved the last time he appeared during a Super Bowl halftime.
In 2004, Timberlake and Janet Jackson were singing his hit, “Rock Your Body,” when Timberlake tore a piece of Jackson’s top off, exposing her pierced nipple to zillions of Super Bowl XXXVIII viewers around the world.
Timberlake apologized for the “wardrobe malfunction,” as did Jackson. But the CEO of MTV (which produced the halftime extravaganza) later alleged that Jackson had engineered the whole thing.

FYI, the Patriots beat the Panthers 32-29 that night in what was then considered to be the best Super Bowl ever.

2 or 3 lines has never failed to correctly identify one of the songs that will be performed during the Super Bowl halftime show, and I’m confident that my streak will remain intact after Justin Timberlake performs tonight.
“SexyBack” was released in 2006 on Timberlake’s second studio album, FutureSex/LoveSounds. (What does Timberlake have against putting spaces between words?) It became his first #1 single, holding down the top spot on the Billboard “Hot 100” for seven consecutive weeks.
If there was a Billboard chart for “Most Popular Strip Club Songs,” “SexyBack” would have been #1 on it for a helluva lot longer than seven weeks.
Here’s “SexyBack”:
