Don't play the stupid game
Cause I'm a different kind of girl
Madonna is a different kind of girl. Will her performance today be a different kind of Super Bowl halftime show?
(Random Madonna facts: Madonna went to the University of Michigan on a dance scholarship, and worked at a Dunkin' Donuts after she dropped out of college and moved to New York City in search of fame and fortune.)
This video of this first single from Madonna's forthcoming album, M.D.N.A., was posted to YouTube on February 2 and had attracted over five million views by noon today. The video features M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj, who will join Madonna in Indianapolis today.
No doubt this song will be prominently featured in the halftime show. It may be the first song she performs, or it may be the last. But I'm betting you won't see anything in her live Super Bowl show that resembles the shot at 1:46 of the video. (If I'm wrong, everyone's going to forget Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction.)
"Give Me All Your Luvin'" is a good pop song. Madonna's 53 -- she released her first record almost 30 years ago -- but she hasn't lost her touch.
Here's the video:
